Umabot na sa 18 ang patay sa lungsod ng Maynila sa magkakasunod at magkakahiwalay na insidente ng pamamaril at panlalaban sa police operation sa buong magdamag.

Naglalakad si Annie Angeles para puntahan ang mister sa isang karinderia sa Delgado Street sa panulukan ng 13th Street sa Port Area, Ermita nang makarinig siya ng isang putok ng baril.

Nang puntahan ang pinangyarihan, nadatnan niya ang mister na si Rodrigo Angeles na nakabulagta.

Inaalam pa ng awtoridad ang motibo sa pamamaril.

Aminado si Annie na gumagamit ng droga ang mister isang beses sa isang linggo.

Samantala, nakasiksik naman sa likod ng nakaparadang sasakyan ang lalaking napatay sa enkuwentro sa mga pulis.

Ayon sa mga pulis, nakatanggap sila ng tawag mula sa isang concerned citizen na may mga kahina-hinalang lalaki na umaaligid sa lugar kaya nirespondehan nila ito.

“Naaktuhan nila ito na hold-up. According sa ating mga personnel nakipagbarilan siya,” paliwanag ni Police Inspector Philip Ines.

Pero iba ang kuwento ng isang testigo. Naghuhugas umano siya ng pinggan. Wala umanong enkuwentrong naganap kundi pamamaril lamang.

“Sabi, ‘Sir, sir, sir, sandal lang po” tapos apat na (putok) ng baril narinig ko,” sabi ng testigo.
Handa naman umano ang pulisya na humarap sa imbestigasyon kung kinakailangan.

Napatay din sa ‘One Time, Big Time Operation’ ang dalawang hinihininalang tulak ng droga sa Don Pedro sa panulukan ng Bautista Street, Malate.

Hinala ng pulisya na nagaabang ng customer sa droga ang mga suspek nang madatnan nila sa lugar.

Bukod sa apat, 11 pa ang nailista na napatay sa Maynila buong magdamag. Ang ilan ay itinakbo na sa ospital.

Ang mga naitalang dead on the spot ay mula sa Sta. Cruz (5), Ermita (1), Sampaloc (2), Malate (3), Sta. Mesa (1).

Tatlo naman ang idineklarang dead on arrival sa Sta. Ana Hospital habang dalawa naman sa Ospital ng Maynila.

Sa buong bilang, isa ang pinagbabaril ng di kilalang gunmen habang ang natitirang iba pa ay resulta ng police operation. – Umagang kay Ganda, 17 August 2017

According to reports,Katelyn body was found on December 30, 2016 with”self-inflicted wounds”outside of her home on December 30, 2016.
