Since Pokemon Go was released, it has been steadily burning through the brain tissue and phone data of just about every teenager who owns a smartphone.
But are they falling out of love with the augmented reality game already?
Pokemon Go has been knocked off the App Store top spot by Bitmoji, an app which allows users to make an emoji of themselves. (And they say millennials are self-obsessed.)
Of course, the App Store chart doesn’t measure the number of people using an app – only the number of people downloading it. In other words, Pokemon Go may have already reached its saturation point and new downloads have dropped off.
Or it could mean that the Pokemon Go trend has passed and a new one has taken its place.
