Must See – In my first assumption after seeing this picture,it looks like a meteor falling down but some netizens share their thoughts they said its “The Hand of God”.
This cloud formation was appeared across the skies of Maderia,Portugal at 8 in the morning.weather blogger rogerio pachero captured the photo,and because of the iconic nature of that image, people started calling it ” The Hand of God”.
On the other blog,Meteorologist Quincy Vagell of weather.com explained the phenomenon.
According to him that cloud information was formed due to a phenomenon called “light scattering”.
“At sunrise and sunset,light from the sun has to pass through a greater distance across earths atmosphere where the light is scattered.the result is that vibrant colors,such as reds and oranges,are more dominant.” He explained
He added also that the turbulent swirls of wind in the low-to-mid levels of the atmosphere caused the clouds to form a fist shape.
